Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data I process when you visit optimaluskodas.com or write to me through the contact form. Last updated: 2026-10-16.

Data controller

The data controller is MB “Optimalus kodas”, company code 303225585. I, Marius, run the website and answer enquiries.

What data I process and why

Contact form and emails

Through the contact form you provide your email address and the text of your message. The form does not ask for a name, but if you write it in your message I will receive it as well. Together with the message, my mailbox receives the address of the page it was sent from and the reCAPTCHA score (a number showing how likely the request is to come from a human).

I use this data only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss possible cooperation. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (my legitimate interest in answering incoming enquiries). If you email me directly, I process the same data for the same purpose.

The website does not write form messages to a database or log files itself – they are only forwarded to my mailbox.

Technical server data

The hosting provider may automatically record technical request data (for example IP address, time, browser type) to keep the server running and secure. I do not use this data for analytics or advertising.

Cookies and analytics

The website itself does not set cookies and uses no analytics tools (for example Google Analytics) or advertising cookies. Cookies or similar technologies can be set only by the third-party services described below, and only when you start using them.

Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection)

The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3. Its script is loaded only when you start filling in the form, not when the page opens. Google may then receive and process your IP address, browser and device data and set cookies in order to assess whether the request comes from a bot. When you submit the form, your IP address and the reCAPTCHA token are sent to Google for verification. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the website from spam and abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google processes the data under its own rules: Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area.

YouTube video

The “Product Sales History” module pages include a demo YouTube video. It is not loaded automatically: until you click the video image, no data is sent to YouTube or Google. After you click, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode); Google may then receive your IP address and browser data and set cookies or similar technologies. Fonts and other resources

The website fonts (Inter) are hosted on my own server, so loading them sends no data to third parties. The “Links” page shows partner badges – some of them are loaded from partners’ servers, so the owners of those servers may receive your IP address. Links to other websites (clients, partners) are only links – their content and privacy practices are handled by their owners.

Who may receive the data

Data may be accessible only to those needed to run the website and correspondence: the hosting provider Serveriai.lt (the website and sending emails from the server), my email service provider (the info@optimaluskodas.com mailbox) and Google (reCAPTCHA and, only after a click, YouTube). I do not sell data and do not use it for marketing.

How long I keep data

I usually keep enquiries and correspondence for up to 12 months after the last contact. If a contract is concluded, I keep documents and related information for as long as the contract and legislation require (for example accounting record retention rules). After that period I delete the emails.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• receive information about the data I process about you and a copy of it;

• have inaccurate data corrected;

• have your data erased;

• restrict the processing of your data;

• object to processing based on legitimate interest;

• data portability (where applicable).

To exercise your rights, write to info@optimaluskodas.com – I will reply within the period set by law.

If you believe your data is processed in breach of the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt).

Changes to this policy

I will update this policy if data processing on the website changes. The current version is always published on this page; the update date is shown at the top.
